What Shoppers Say About ShowClix
ShowClix is rated 1.1 out of 5 by 23 shoppers, and the overwhelming majority of reviews reflect serious frustration with the platform. Shoppers report persistent problems with customer support staff being unhelpful and dismissive, slow or nonresponsive responses across multiple contact channels, and website functionality issues. The most common complaint involves refund policies that shoppers describe as restrictive or misleadingly advertised, with customers reporting that refund requests are denied or subjected to invasive documentation requirements. Additionally, some shoppers have experienced fraudulent or nonexistent events listed on the platform, with little recourse or assistance from the company.
A small minority of reviewers gave higher ratings, but the consistent thread across negative reviews is a lack of transparency and poor customer service when issues arise. Shoppers advise others to avoid purchasing tickets through ShowClix when alternative platforms are available, and express regret about their purchases and the difficulty in obtaining refunds even when company policy allegedly permits them.

Sorted by: Most recentThey told us to buy a ticket we didn't actually need and then wouldn't give the money back when we realized the truth. Really shady behavior.
Without question the worst ticketing company I've ever dealt with. I bought tickets that came with insurance, then completely out of nowhere we lost our newsroom leader and the company announced a rebrand meaning every single person's time off got cancelled and we all need to stay flexible in case we have to travel on short notice. They said that wasn't a good enough reason. I talked to my managers over and over and there's just no way to make it work unless I literally quit my job and pay big money to get out of my agreement. Every response was the same generic and mean stuff. Doesn't matter what the event is - I'm never using this service again and I'm telling other folks to stay away too.
I bought tickets for an event that got canceled not once but twice. ShowClix won't give me my money back because they have this non-refundable policy. The thing is, the event never actually happened so they didn't give me what I paid for, yet they still want to keep the cash based on their policy. Not cool at all. I even called customer service and got nowhere.
My experience has been just like what other people are saying. The customer service here is pretty bad and getting refunds is basically impossible. I messed up and accidentally bought a ticket for my 4 year old - it's not very clear how to get the free ticket option so just watch out. Really let down by how they handled it.
I bought tickets for a trip to Chicago. My husband was tied up with work so I got to go alone for a quick getaway. We rolled into town around 9:30 at night on Tuesday and got word there was an issue at home. I tried to move my ticket from Thursday to Wednesday. There were tons of Wednesday tickets still available so it should've been fine. They rejected my request and said no refunds. So now I'm out 54.99 and they wouldn't even let me change the date.
The customer service was really disappointing. They messed up the tax calculation on my purchase and then when I asked them to explain the refund amount, they suddenly couldn't find my order anymore. Communication was really poor from start to finish. Also the e-tickets don't have any useful details on them.
I accidentally bought 4 senior tickets to an attraction through this company when we only needed 2. I emailed asking for a refund, and their automatic reply said I had to contact the event location first and they would reach out to the ticketing company. I tried emailing that location four times and called them once with zero response. So heads up, stay away from buying event tickets here because they won't refund you or help you work things out with the event people.
The customer care here is really bad and clearly doesn't actually care. Because of a glitch on the website, I ordered tickets for the wrong date. I reached out to them right away with a full explanation. I got back a boring generic response that looked like it was automated saying they don't do refunds or exchanges. They applied zero compassion or human understanding, which seems to be happening more and more these days. Find another ticket company if you can.
I'd ordered a space pass quite a while back for an upcoming show, then I found out they started selling the same passes at a 20 percent discount for an upcoming family weekend. I tried to get in touch with their support team, but it was a hassle and after I finally got through by email, it was clear they didn't actually read what I wrote. They didn't show any care or willingness to match the discount for me. This made me decide not to buy from them again, and I plan to leave a bad review after I go to that show.
They don't give refunds. Their customer service people hang up on you if you manage to get through at all, and the chat is just a robot that boots you out when you ask about refunds. At the event, the people taking tickets told us to ask for a refund by sending an email. After the show was done we got an email back saying nope, no refunds happening.
