This mattress is terrible and it's a straight-up scam. It's a garbage product with fantastic marketing, that's all. My first Luxe mattress was swapped out after a year under warranty for another Luxe, but this replacement is turning out to be even worse quality than the original. A five-inch dent appeared after just 3 months with both mattresses. This company is nothing but a scam. They shouldn't be allowed to operate. This is the worst mattress I've bought in 50 years of shopping. Run away, run away, run away. Completely wasted almost two grand!
The product is absolutely terrible. The hybrid model is garbage, I really can't stand it. I have their Luxe and that one's pretty good. But the hybrid is so bad that I seriously want to take legal action. I'm not sleeping at all.
I'm incredibly frustrated with how my return was handled. The whole experience from beginning to end has been disappointing and aggravating. I bought this mattress expecting quality based on what they promised, but it totally fell short. The mattress was nowhere near comfortable and definitely didn't justify the price. It didn't match any of the marketing promises they made, and I quickly realized I'd made a mistake. Even though they advertise the 101-night sleep trial, returning it was a nightmare. The whole process took way longer than it should have, and communication was terrible. I had to wait forever for responses or help. Every time I asked for an update, I got slow answers that weren't useful. They seemed totally unmotivated to help, which was frustrating since I was following their policy. Things got worse when the refund came around. They gave me a hard time about it. I had to deal with tons of delays and back and forth conversations before they finally issued my credit. It was obvious they were trying everything possible to keep my money.
There's a serious defect in how the adjustable bed frame is designed or made. The metal keeps breaking, which makes the whole adjustability feature stop working. GhostBed replaced my first 2 frames under warranty without any issue. Unfortunately, both replacement frames broke in exactly the same way, and since they're not covered by warranty anymore, I'm stuck with a non-functional bed.
I messed up and ordered the wrong headboard brackets, not realizing I grabbed the wrong brand from my mom's bed. I emailed right away to cancel my order once I figured out my mistake. They told me the order was already being processed so they couldn't cancel it. Fair enough, I understood. But then they said I could return it if I wanted, though I'd have to cover the shipping costs plus pay a 15% restocking fee. That's absolutely crazy and terrible customer service. This is exactly why third party retailers like Amazon are way better. No sketchy fees like that.
They claim to be fast shippers with no-hassle refunds. Neither of those things turned out to be true. They charge restocking fees even if you never even open the box. Part of my order never shipped. I placed my order on 7/20/2024 and it's now the 31st. I called them about it and they're saying they won't let me cancel the rest of the order.
The customer service at Ghostbed is honestly the best. I sent an email about an issue and they took care of it right away. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Big thanks to the team, especially for their willingness to go the extra mile and make things right. My sleep quality has improved so much since getting this bed. My back feels great now.

The mattress showed up without any problems, and putting together the frame was pretty straightforward. The frame itself was just a plain old Hollywood bed that was way too tall and not sturdy enough for what we needed. We ended up ditching the frame completely and ordering a different one from Amazon instead. The actual mattress isn't comfortable at all. It sinks down way too much. Sit on the corner and you'll feel it bottom out all the way to the frame. I really like using t-shirt sheets because they normally stay put, but with this mattress they slide everywhere. I had to go out and buy those elastic clips just to keep the sheets from falling off because the bed sinks so much. Both my husband and I started having back and neck pain pretty quickly after we started sleeping on it. The pillows are even worse than the mattress, honestly. They're tiny and hard as rocks. I gave them away to someone who wanted to try them, and they ended up donating them shortly after. The biggest issue is that the company claims you can just send it back if you don't like it, but that's basically a lie. Most people throw away their old mattress when a new one arrives, and the whole thing comes packed in a small box.
