What Shoppers Say About Blackstone
Blackstone has a severely troubled reputation on RetailCoupons.com, rated 1.3 out of 5 by 19 shoppers. The overwhelming majority of reviews report major issues: defective products (broken control knobs, gas valve failures, temperature regulation problems), poor customer service (unresponsive staff, long wait times, ignored calls and emails), compatibility misrepresentation on the website, and frustrating return policies that charge restocking fees and require customers to cover return shipping. Several reviewers describe losing significant money, with some reporting amounts in the hundreds or thousands of dollars on premium models that failed after minimal use or arrived with manufacturing defects.
A small minority of shoppers (5 percent) rated the company positively, though no specific positive feedback is detailed in the available reviews. The consistent pattern across negative reviews suggests systemic problems with product quality control, customer service responsiveness, and post-sale support. Shoppers report long lead times for replacement parts (some citing three months or more) and an overall lack of willingness from the company to offer alternative solutions when issues arise.

Sorted by: Most recentA recovery service stepped in and helped me get my significant financial loss back after dealing with someone who scammed me.
Really disappointing experience. I phoned to double check if the unit would work with natural gas and they never returned my call. The website made it seem compatible but it's not. Now they expect me to handle return shipping and pay restocking charges on top of that. This company is just bad.
Dropped around fifteen hundred dollars on what was supposed to be their premium model. After using it maybe five times, one of the control knobs snapped off, which meant the whole gas valve assembly needed replacement. The part has a minimum three month lead time. Their response was disappointing and they had no alternative solutions to offer.
If I could give a negative rating, I would. We booked lodging in London through a travel site, with the host being a property management company. We completed the booking and paid in full back in October 2023, plus uploaded all our identification requirements as requested (though they initially asked us to send docs via messaging app, which we declined). When July 2024 rolled around, nine months later, we reached out about early check-in options. Then without warning, our reservation was cancelled just three days before we were supposed to arrive. They kept our entire payment with zero compensation or apology, just vague excuses about property problems. We were extremely disappointed. To make matters worse, the same unit was immediately relisted on the booking site at a higher price.
I don't usually write reviews and almost never negative ones, so this is unusual for me. Purchased the 2355 griddle model. Once I put it together, the control knobs wouldn't push in or activate properly. I reached out to customer service. First, I waited almost an hour just to talk to someone. After three days passed, then four including the holiday, I finally got through via their chat system, but not before navigating through an endless list of menu choices. I explained the issue with the non functioning knobs even though the actual valve mechanism worked fine. They said they'd send replacement knobs, but they're generic ones, not the originals made for this model. When asked how long that would take, they said seven to ten business days. I asked how long to get the actual factory knobs since the griddle is brand new and hasn't really been used yet. They couldn't answer that. If a company has a one hour wait for customer service and can't quickly replace basic components of a brand new product, they're already failing. Don't buy this. Waste of money.
Both the Canadian and American divisions of this company have absolutely awful customer service. I spent two grand on a pellet smoker, which is a lot once you include taxes. It arrived weeks ago, but I haven't been able to get it working properly. The unit appears to have manufacturing defects and won't reach proper temperature. Calls and emails go unanswered. The online chat isn't helpful either. Since the item was shipped and is massive and extremely heavy, sending it back isn't realistic.
Got the leg kit attachment back in early June. The packaging was fine and it looked decent when I opened it. That's where the positives end. It's basically junk. When I started trying to unscrew the bolts to make adjustments to my grill, half of them started stripping immediately. This isn't worth recommending to anyone. Even if they offered a replacement, it's not worth my time and effort to deal with.
I read about online earning opportunities and made a small deposit. Immediately after, I was pressured to add more funds to my account.
The customer service here is so disappointing that it's turned me off from the whole brand. I placed one order and half of it showed up three months late, with the rest arriving four weeks after that. Nobody notified me the shipment was being split, there were no expected delivery updates, and certainly no apologies for the delays. I'd steer clear of this place.
I got lucky and won a 22 inch griddle at an auction. I've always wanted to cook on a proper griddle and this has been fantastic. Everything tastes better, from morning pancakes to smash burgers, and everyone compliments how delicious the food is. Being a decent cook helps too, but I genuinely love using this thing. It's perfect for camping trips with the one pound tank capacity. I'm already dreaming about upgrading to the larger model down the road.
