What Shoppers Say About adidas Canada
Shoppers rating adidas Canada are overwhelmingly dissatisfied, with 15 reviews averaging 1.8 out of 5. The primary complaints center on customer service failures: sizing confusion between men's and women's footwear categories, unenforced promotional discounts (such as advertised first-purchase discounts and free shipping that do not apply), inconsistent price matching policies, and poor support responsiveness. Several reviewers also report confusion around return deadlines and sizing recommendations that do not match actual product fit. One positive review praised in-store staff helpfulness and a significant sale promotion, suggesting that experiences may vary between online and physical locations.
The stark divide in ratings (80 percent one-star versus 20 percent five-star with no middle-ground reviews) indicates fundamentally inconsistent service quality or possible differences between channels. For most online shoppers, the site presents substantial friction during checkout, fulfillment, and post-purchase resolution. RetailCoupons.com recommends reviewing return policies and promotional terms before purchase, and contacting customer support to clarify sizing and pricing details upfront.

Sorted by: Most recentThe customer service here is basically nonexistent. When you're placing an order, you can pick Women's or Men's. But their support team says all footwear ships in men's sizes anyway. So if you order a women's 7, you get a men's 7. That's just how they do it, and apparently you're supposed to already know that. Also, they base return deadlines on when you ordered, not when it arrived. Since I was one day late from my ship date, they wouldn't help me. They were closed for Christmas and Boxing Day and didn't work weekends either, which makes returning stuff nearly impossible. Great way to keep people from sending things back. And forget about any exceptions for gifts. Their staff has absolutely no concept of what customer service means. They're not there to assist you, they just want you off the call as fast as possible and will discourage you from following up. It's basically like calling a phone or cable company. They don't care. Never shopping here again.
Really frustrated with my recent purchase experience at adidas. When I signed up, they made it clear I'd get a 15% discount on my first order plus free shipping. After placing two separate purchases, neither one included the full discount or the shipping benefit they advertised. I spent a bunch of time talking to their support team and all I got back were generic responses that didn't address what I was actually asking about. Instead of helping, they said my items were on an exclusion list after the fact, even though the website was promoting the welcome deal pretty prominently. That feels dishonest. The whole communication process was rough. Shipping dates kept changing, replies took forever, and nobody stepped up to actually own the problem. What should've been an easy fix turned into a nightmare. For a company as big as adidas, I'd expect way better service. I'm done ordering from them and I'd tell anyone else to be really careful before buying from this company.
The staff was super helpful and the selection is fantastic. They had a huge sale running across the whole store with like 50% off most items. I ended up getting two pairs of shoes and my friend did too! The team really went out of their way to help us find what we needed. Definitely coming back to this location.
Purchased some shoes following their sizing recommendation but they came in a bit tight for me. So I thought it'd be smart to get the next size up to compare and keep whichever fit best. The problem is the price went up 25% since my purchase. I phoned customer support asking for a price match and got a flat no. They offered an exchange as an option to preserve the price I originally paid, which made sense except they couldn't promise that size would be in stock by the time my return arrived. A price adjustment suggestion was shut down with "we don't do those anymore." Then they refused to offer me a 25% off voucher because in their view, my reasoning wasn't legitimate. This was nearly a thousand dollar purchase and it apparently meant nothing. They'd rather lose my business than figure out a solution. What a disaster.
I ordered some sneakers using their size guide but once they arrived, they felt snug on my feet. My plan was to grab a larger size so I could test both and pick whichever felt better. Problem is, the same shoe now costs 25% more than what I paid originally, so I called to ask if they'd match the price. They straight up said no. They suggested doing an exchange instead to hold my original price, which seemed reasonable except there was no guarantee that size would be available after I shipped my current pair back. When I asked about a price match, their response was "we stopped doing those." Then they refused to give me a 25% discount code because they didn't think my reason was good enough. My purchase was nearly a grand, and somehow that didn't matter at all. They basically chose to lose a customer rather than make things right. Total joke.
Really impressed with the service I got from the store staff, especially from one team member who was super attentive and always ready to help answer my questions. The customer service was really top notch.
Shipped a return back and received an email from Adidas saying my money was being returned. That was close to 2 months back now. Their customer service reps were unhelpful and rude when I tried to follow up. My bank is currently working to sort out the missing refund. Watch out for this company!!!
I've always considered myself loyal to Adidas and I'm a huge fan of their first-gen ultraboost kicks, I have practically every model in triple-black colorway. That's why my recent experience with a pair of winter TERREX FREE HIKER COLD.RDY HIKING BOOTS was shocking. The paint started peeling off the side of the shoe sole after just some light use during the season. I bought them in 2022, but here's the kicker: their warranty runs from the production date, not the purchase date. I didn't even realize the sole was off-white with black paint until I checked my other pair from 2020, which looks brand new. I've owned tons of ultraboost models in triple black and none of them have this paint issue. From where I'm sitting as a regular customer, these are clearly defective shoes. But Adidas Canada rejected my claim based on their warranty terms. I wanted to share what happened so people know: First, keep an eye out for paint problems on the TERREX FREE HIKER COLD.RDY HIKING BOOTS or other ultraboost models with painted soles. Second, understand how Adidas Canada's warranty actually works based on production date.
COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!! I bought a hat a couple weeks back and it was supposed to arrive yesterday. When I checked the status online, all they told me was "we don't have a clue when this will be available again, you should probably just cancel." Are you serious?? The item was definitely in stock when I purchased it, and after sitting around waiting for weeks, this is what they say?? On top of that, I sent in a shoe for a replacement and it's been a month with zero updates. This company is terrible, no surprise Nike keeps eating their lunch!!
