Sorted by: Most recentGreat Heated Lunch Container. Picked up a heated lunch box and it's perfect. The size is convenient and it heats food in about fifteen to thirty minutes. Compact design but holds a surprising amount whether you're packing a casserole or a big can of soup. Really practical for daily use.
Total Waste Of Money. These coolers don't actually keep anything cold. The lid won't lock or stay shut properly. Their customer service won't help. I'm disputing the charge with my credit card. Save your money and buy something else.
Received Wrong Item And Major Hassle. Bought two things, one was supposed to be a birthday present. What arrived was completely different from what I ordered. Customer service sent me a return label and I had to drive to a shipping location which was a pain. I needed that gift right away. This will be my last Igloo purchase anywhere.
Doesn't Live Up To Claims. Just got a roto molded Igloo cooler that's supposed to keep ice for seven days. That's not even close to reality. The latches don't tighten the lid down properly and ice only lasts about three days. Got it on Friday for Mother's Day weekend, filled it immediately, and by Sunday all the ice was gone. Won't be buying another one.
Handle Caused Serious Injury. When you push the handle down it can pinch your fingers really badly. I got my finger caught and the nail turned completely black from being squeezed. This is a serious safety hazard that needs to be fixed.
No Parts Available Makes Products Useless. I own several of their water containers and one spout broke plus some seals wore out. When I asked about ordering replacements they said nothing is available for purchase or as a spare. If you buy their stuff and something breaks you're basically out the money since you can't maintain or repair anything. Very disappointing company.
Sent Me The Wrong Item. Ordered a cup and it showed up all dented. They agreed to send a replacement but what arrived was a completely different style. When I asked about getting the correct one they told me to send this back instead, except I never received the one I actually wanted. It was a thirty dollar cup and this whole situation has been a nightmare. Go somewhere else to shop.
Plastic Latch Design Is A Disaster. Stay away from the Maxcold fifty liter model with plastic latches. These break after just one or two uses and won't last. The warranty won't cover swapping them for metal ones so you're stuck either accepting another plastic latch that will break again later when warranty is gone, or buying your own replacement metal latch.
Can't Cancel And Uncertain When It Ships. No clue when or if my order will even show up and they won't let me cancel even though they charged my card. If I return it when it eventually arrives, that's going to cost me extra money. After buying many Igloo coolers from stores over the years I'm done spending money with this company. Update: the cooler finally got here but by then I'd already ordered something else since the shipping date was unknown. Now they're charging me six dollars to send it back. It's sad because I used to love this brand and recommend it but now I can't tell anyone to buy from them.
Terrible Experience With No Solutions. I'd rate this zero if I could. Had the cooler for two weeks when the lid came off while driving down the road. For the price you'd think it would secure better. Now I'm trying to buy a replacement lid but they're out of stock with no timeline for when they'll have more. Reading other reviews it seems they've been out of replacement lids for years. Spending this much money should come with actual customer support to fix problems, not just being stuck unable to use your cooler.
