Got our account terminated and banned from posting jobs with zero explanation. We paid for a commercial casting listing, followed everything by the book, and they ghosted us completely. Took our money and stopped answering. Extremely unprofessional. Won't be back.
Their customer service is absolutely worthless. I reported two agents to them, one who wants money upfront just to look at you, another who requires a signed agreement before considering you for anything or wants payment. I sent screenshots and all I got was a generic response saying I didn't provide enough details. Total blame game on their end. Don't spend your cash here. If you're a minority, good luck finding anything since there are barely any roles for you anyway, and agents mostly stick to their own regions or nearby cities. I even volunteered to cover travel and lodging just to gain some experience and improve my portfolio. They didn't care. Just find a real agent instead.
This is the sketchiest website out there. They force you to hand over sensitive documents like your passport and ID, then turn around and sell that info. They'll let you post something after you pay, then ban you without warning. They ask about nudity in projects, take your money anyway, then block your account. It's all about their profits and selling your personal details. Do not use this site. REPORT THEM.
I don't know how I got on their email list in the first place. I've hit unsubscribe at least twenty times, but they keep blasting me with garbage job listings.
The registration team seems completely out of touch. I'm a business owner running a laser clinic and was posting for a short promotional video. I submitted my driver's license along with my company information and website. Despite that, they demanded an IMDb page. I clearly explained I'm not a film producer or talent agency, just a small business creating a brief ad. Their response was to ask again for IMDb, references, and a CV. Are they seriously saying anyone posting a job must be in entertainment? That's ridiculous. The worst part is I provided a government ID with my full details and business credentials, yet they claim that's not enough verification. But a self-made online profile somehow is? This team has zero common sense.
Backstage turned into a scam! I signed up a year ago for a six-month plan and now my account is completely locked, but they're still charging my card almost sixty dollars. I've sent multiple emails requesting help and gotten silence. I'm going to get my money back one way or another.
