Sorted by: Most recentEvery time you turn around there's another bug waiting for you. Get into anything involving 3D modeling like Civil3D and it gets worse. Autodesk should be embarrassed. This software has been around over 40 years and they've swallowed up every competitor, creating this monstrosity that does everything poorly. If you don't already know how to work around all the problems, you'll give up on this garbage in a hurry.
I've relied on Autodesk Inventor, Powermill, and Fusion360 for years now and they're just awful. Nothing but bugs, everything runs slow, the graphics are from the stone age, and don't count on any real support. If you're thinking about switching from something else, stop right there. All Autodesk products will let you down.
Updates that overhaul everything but deliver nothing. Extrusion problems everywhere. Nothing functions correctly. Using this daily is actually making people depressed. Tethered to the cloud purely for profit extraction. This would be so much better as a standalone program. If this software came out 15 years ago it would work better than the current version.
I've worked with Autodesk since 2009 and it used to be solid. Started with Inventor, then switched to Fusion 360 because their prices got ridiculous. Problem is they pull this shady stuff constantly. Everything's broken and it's just old stuff repackaged. I gave up on AutoCAD LT after a year subscription because it was nothing but problems from start to finish. Their support is terrible. Find something else for your CAD requirements. This company isn't worth your money.
Paid for my 12-month Fusion and AutoCAD LT subscription back in June, and the payment went through fine. Then I kept getting emails saying I hadn't paid even though I clearly had. Yesterday they straight up revoked my licenses. Now I'm trying to get them restored but both the online system and phone support are completely useless. I've been using AutoCAD since 2001, so maybe it's time to look at the competition.
