My advice: don't count on BHLDN for bridesmaids dresses. Four of us ordered six months ahead, but three had major problems. One bridesmaid got a dress with terrible stitching, while two of us including myself kept getting backorder notices. When my first backorder date hit, I called and they said it was backordered again. Then weeks later on the second date they claimed it was out of stock. I asked if there was any way to help since I'm in the wedding party and need to match. They said they could work it out, but then I got a cancellation without warning. When I called back, the rep kept saying backorder until I told them I understand how this works and cancellations don't happen by accident. Suddenly their story changed to the dress being completely gone. I ended up having to choose something different.

I bought a bridesmaid gown through BHLDN and everything was fine until it came time for shipping. The company uses LaserShip as their courier and I'm confused why such a supposedly upscale brand partners with such a low quality shipping service. LaserShip has tons of one star reviews and they constantly mishandle and lose packages without any real accountability. I'm way past the delivery date and still don't have my order. Since this is for my best friend's wedding I can't just give up, but I'm stuck dealing with unhelpful customer support who just keeps saying to wait and see if it shows up. A quality product doesn't mean much if you can't actually receive it through their shipping process. Their whole delivery system is disappointing.

I bought a dress after trying it on in the store but knew once I got it home it wasn't for me. With their free thirty day return policy I thought no problem, right? Wrong. They hit me with a seventy five dollar restocking fee. After multiple conversations with a rude and uncaring support team, all they said was that I returned it dirty and it must have been in terrible condition or their processing team wouldn't have flagged it. I only had it on for five minutes in my bedroom and checked it thoroughly for any dirt or dust before putting it back. Their supposedly free returns might actually cost you, so watch out.

I'm not sure why there's so much anger about this company online. My wedding dress was totally fine and I'm very satisfied with everything. Not sure what all the fussing is about honestly. What other options are there anyway? Some of these negative reviews seem fake.

I want to warn anyone thinking about ordering from BHLDN. I bought a wedding gown that was way too small even though I ordered my correct size and took my own measurements beforehand. I sent it back but waited forever for my refund without ever getting one. I reached out to their support team many times but got silence. I even tried calling their number and couldn't get through. After sending several emails and social media messages with no response, I started posting complaints on their social pages. Suddenly they answered. Apparently they only care about customer service when complaints are public.

I ordered a dress after carefully checking their sizing chart and getting professional measurements plus measuring myself to confirm size six would work. Fair warning to Canadians: expect big customs fees, I paid over one hundred sixty dollars. When the dress arrived it was clearly at least one to two sizes smaller than listed on the site, maybe a size two. The construction was also weird with a stretchy base layer under a stiff beaded overlay with no room for movement between them, which seemed like a design problem since beading restricts fabric and shouldn't be put over something stretchy. Plus when I opened the package a bunch of beads fell out. I tried posting an honest review of my actual experience without being mean.

My wedding dress got held up at customs and they had no clue where it was. No refund, unhelpful customer service, and zero understanding. I spent three weeks calling them and paying for international calls to the US. On top of everything, I ended up having to pay over eighty pounds in customs fees because it got stuck without my knowledge. Don't order from them internationally. It's just not worth the stress and expense.
