What Shoppers Say About caagearup.com
CAA Gear Up receives polarized feedback, with three out of four recent reviews reporting serious issues. Customers complain about poor communication, unresponsive customer service, misleading product compatibility claims, and defective items with no resolution. One five-star reviewer praised the company's communication and product quality across multiple purchases and builds.
The primary concerns are product accuracy and support responsiveness. Multiple shoppers reported receiving items that did not match advertised specifications or compatibility claims, and described customer service as unresponsive when attempting to address problems. However, the one satisfied customer highlighted quick delivery and consistent communication throughout the ordering process.

Sorted by: Most recentTerrible communication and zero follow-up. Placed an order early June and they confirmed receipt the same day. I emailed asking about the delivery timeline on June 12th and got nothing back. Ten days later I tried again with the same question and still received no response. Then I called their customer service line on June 24th. The representative said she would check with the shipping department and call me back in about 10 to 15 minutes. That never happened. After waiting around, I called back and just canceled the whole thing. This company is unreliable and I wouldn't trust them with my money. Total disaster.
Paid for items I didn't actually receive. My wife ordered a thumb rest, ambidextrous slide, and red laser for an MCK P320 as a Christmas gift. They mislead her about the firearm being gen 2 compatible with a suppressor when it's actually gen 1 with minor modifications that still won't work with one. I decided to keep it anyway since she had already been given incorrect information. I then placed my own order for the three accessories mentioned. When it showed up, the thumb rest was good but the slide only came with one pull point on the left instead of being truly ambidextrous, and they completely forgot to include the laser. I sent them an email about the missing items and a week later I still haven't heard anything. They did send me one of those automated survey things and I gave them a 1 because the company apparently only publishes the positive responses. Fortunately both of my credit card purchases are protected, and my card company takes fraud seriously. I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
Absolutely fantastic company and products. I've purchased from CAA several times and done multiple builds with their stuff. From the moment I placed each order all the way through delivery, they've kept me in the loop and things have arrived quickly. Sure, a lot of their components are plastic based, but the build quality and craftsmanship are top notch. I'm really impressed with how everything fits and works together as a complete system. Their current deals are always solid too. If you're thinking about ordering from CAA, go for it because their stuff really is excellent. I'm extremely satisfied as a customer and will definitely be back for more purchases.
Defective product with no support. Purchased an accessory that was marketed as compatible with my pistol. Once I got it and tried using it, the item didn't work right and wasn't compatible like promised. When I contacted CAA about fixing the problem, they basically ignored my complaints, claimed it passed their quality checks, and refused to take it back. My gun jams constantly now and I can't even use it. I'm out $270 for a useless product from a company that won't stand behind what they sell. What really gets me is that when I posted a 1 star review on their website months ago, it never showed up. It's clear they only let the positive ones through. At this point I'm going to leave negative feedback anywhere online I can because that's the only option I have left to warn people about how they treated me.
