Dreamcloudsleep Reviews
What Shoppers Say About Dreamcloudsleep
Dreamcloudsleep has a severely troubled reputation, with 22 shoppers rating it 1.9 out of 5. The overwhelming majority of reviews are one-star, citing consistent problems with mattress durability (permanent sagging and drooping within months), unresponsive customer service, and a warranty that shoppers describe as worthless. Multiple reviewers report that the company refuses to help with issues and forces customers to hire and pay for their own repairs. A small minority of five-star reviewers report positive experiences with mattress comfort and back pain relief, but these positive accounts are vastly outnumbered.
Beyond durability concerns, shoppers complain about deceptive shipping practices: the company advertises fast delivery but uses partial shipments to avoid refunds, sending mattresses that are difficult to return while delaying delivery of other items. Post-purchase support appears nonexistent, with customers unable to reach the company about delivery problems or defects. The consensus among most reviewers is strong enough that some have indicated plans to pursue legal action. Shoppers consistently warn others to avoid the company entirely.

Sorted by: Most recentWARNING TO SHOPPERS. DreamCloud mattresses might work okay for certain people, but their 365-night trial guarantee isn't what it claims to be. We bought our mattress through an authorized DreamCloud retailer at a physical location. When we tried returning it because it wasn't right for us, DreamCloud gave us the runaround by claiming the trial only applies to online purchases. Their website doesn't mention this restriction anywhere though. Wouldn't DreamCloud want to protect its image by standing behind what they advertise? Apparently that's not a priority for them.
This ranks as the absolute worst experience I've ever had with any product. The dreamcloud adjustable frame only functioned for 1 hour and then just quit. Customer service has been a nightmare. I've been trying to get a replacement for more than 2 months with zero success. They keep saying someone will call me back about a replacement but the calls never come. I've reached out at least 20 times trying to get this fixed and have nothing to show for it. Just skip dreamcloud entirely or you'll get ripped off.
HANDS DOWN MY WORST MATTRESS PURCHASE EVER. ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THAT'S IT. THEY RUN THINGS ON THEIR SCHEDULE. HERE'S HOW THE SCAM WORKS. YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER, THEY CONTACT YOU SAYING IT'S NOT IN STOCK AND OFFER TO UPGRADE YOU TO SOMETHING BETTER. BUT REALLY YOU'RE JUST BEING STRUNG ALONG. THEN THEY MESSAGE AGAIN CLAIMING PART OF YOUR ORDER SHIPPED AND THEY CAN'T DO THE UPGRADE ANYMORE. AND ON AND ON IT GOES. THEY KEEP LYING, BEING RUDE, NOT RETURNING CALLS. YOU ASK FOR A MANAGER THEY SAY THEY'LL CALL YOU BACK EXCEPT THEY DON'T. AFTER MORE THAN A MONTH WE STILL DON'T HAVE A COMPLETE BED AND THEY WERE NASTY ON EVERY SINGLE CONTACT. IT'S OBVIOUS THEY PAY TO HIDE ALL THE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. STEER CLEAR.
Got their premiere hybrid. Total garbage. It came in almost 3 inches shorter than what a king size should be. There was a manufacturing date on the tag showing it had been sitting vacuum packed in a box for over 4 months. That explains why it looked so bad when we opened it. Returning it is not easy. Customer service does everything they can to discourage you from sending it back. Unfortunately like other mattress companies these days, they're running scams and trying to dump shoddy stuff on buyers who won't bother returning something that heavy and bulky. Avoid ordering from them.
We ordered on the 4th of July from Dreamcloud Canada since their site indicated stock was available and promised 2-7 business day shipping. We really needed the mattress quickly and were tracking updates closely. The original shipping window was the 7th through 11th, but on the 10th they shifted it to the 10th through 14th due to what they said was a warehouse mistake with our address. I followed up on the 12th expecting them to stick with the original dates since it was their error. The rep got snippy and kept insisting they were still within 7 business days (technically 6) and that I shouldn't worry about the estimated timeframe, just be patient. The 14th arrived with no shipment. I called that morning and they said it got delayed again with no guarantee it would ship that day. They promised to send me updates before business closed. Radio silence. I called again at the end of business hours to cancel, and they claimed it was in pre-shipment and would ship sometime that week (which made zero sense).
Bought the premier rest and it's hard as a brick. Causing me restless nights and sore muscles everywhere. The return process is way harder than they make it sound. Getting your money back is difficult and the mattress itself is just not good. I have a leesa and a serta Icomfort at home and this thing is junk compared to them. DO NOT PURCHASE!
FOLLOW-UP: After reaching out to DreamCloud support, they actually stepped up and helped me out. I had to send some pictures proving the mattress came in good condition, and they got back to me right away with pickup details. I had additional questions too, and every time they answered pretty quickly. The original mattress felt firmer than advertised and the edges would sink down, forcing me to sleep in the middle. When they asked for feedback on their site and I left this review, they said a support person would reach out. That never happened. Total letdown on following through with promises.
I bought a king size but ended up with two separate twin beds. The mattresses themselves are pretty comfy but two separate beds aren't practical at all because of the gap between them. When I called customer service they mailed me a wedge to place in the gap plus a mattress pad at no cost, which improved things. I still don't love that gap though. The frame itself is well made and it's fantastic being able to lift just the head without affecting your partner. The vibration feature and USB outlets are honestly my favorite parts. I also appreciate that Dreamcloud gives a special discount to first responders.
I ordered a king size but got two individual twin beds instead. The mattresses themselves feel really good, but having two separate beds doesn't make sense. There's a noticeable gap between them. I called them up and they sent me a wedge to go between the beds plus a mattress topper at no extra cost, which helped a lot. Still not thrilled about the gap though. The bed frame itself is solid and having adjustable head height is nice. I also really like that it vibrates and has USB ports built in. It's cool that Dreamcloud offers a discount for Emergency Service responders too.
Don't go with this company. Not only have I gotten 2 damaged bed frames, but when I decided the mattress wasn't for me I've had a really hard time returning it even after trying tons of times to reach them. Save yourself the hassle and buy somewhere else. The mattress isn't any better than something you'd grab from a big box store or IKEA and their return process is completely bogus.
