What Shoppers Say About faithgateway.com
Faith Gateway has severe operational and customer service issues that dominate shopper feedback. The most common complaints involve order fulfillment failures, including orders not entering their system, lack of shipping updates or tracking numbers, unexpectedly long delays (sometimes weeks past stated shipping timeframes), and inadequate communication when backorders occur. Customers report receiving wrong items, incomplete shipments, and billing problems. When issues arise, customer service responses are described as slow, dismissive, or unhelpful, with refunds only issued after customer persistence. A small number of shoppers report satisfaction with products themselves, but this is overshadowed by logistics and service failures.
The pattern of complaints suggests systemic problems with order processing, inventory management, and customer communication rather than isolated incidents. Shoppers consistently recommend purchasing from competitors, and several mention switching retailers due to these experiences. The few positive ratings appear to acknowledge acceptable product quality but do not compensate for the fulfillment and service issues that define the majority of customer experiences.

Sorted by: Most recentOrdered 2 Charles Stanley Daily Life application bibles and received something that was shipped from overseas and completely different from what I ordered. Customer service sent me quick form responses and eventually offered a measly 10% refund. Their Facebook presence looks like a scam operation.
Wish I'd looked at other reviews before ordering. It's been over two weeks with no word on my order status. I've sent two emails and heard nothing back. I paid through PayPal, so I'm going to request a refund there. I'd recommend shopping elsewhere.
Bought a bunch of books for the holidays and never got a tracking number or any updates about my shipment. When the holidays came and went, I finally reached out to check on my order. Turns out it never even went into their system to be packed, but they still charged my card! I did get a refund eventually, but only after pushing them on it. They said someone probably would have noticed eventually and refunded me anyway. The frustrating part is they had no problem taking my money right away, but getting it back took forever. This is not how any legitimate business should operate.
Ordered a Bible study on December 2nd and it still hadn't shipped by the 12th even though their site says they ship within days. I get that December is busy, but that shouldn't delay getting orders ready to go. Because of this, other members of my study group are planning to buy from different retailers.
Ordered books on April 17th. Part of my order went out on the 19th, but the rest didn't ship until after April 30th. When I contacted them about the delay, they told me those books were on backorder with no expected arrival date. I asked why they hadn't reached out to tell me this, and they said their system doesn't support that kind of notification.
The product itself was decent, but the shipping took way longer than expected. On top of that, I got charged more than I should have, and an unauthorized charge showed up on my account. When I called to sort it out, they told me it wasn't their department's responsibility to help.
Placed an order Tuesday evening and paid extra to get it by Thursday. Friday rolls around and nothing arrived. Called them and found out it just shipped Thursday, so I wouldn't get it until Monday at the earliest. I let them know how frustrated I was. They offered a $10 credit first, but then refunded the shipping charge after I complained. Problem is, I needed this for my Sunday study, so the money back doesn't really fix the issue.
Really disappointing that two well-known companies joined forces but somehow ended up with virtually no customer service. I ordered 2 books on December 1st and got confirmation the next day, but then radio silence. Most retailers send a second email with tracking info and delivery windows. They didn't. I had to go back to my account page days later to find a tracking number. By the time my order arrived 14 days later, I only got one book, and the packing slip showed the other was on backorder. I had to spot that in the package myself! When I called to ask about a refund or when they'd ship the second one, I got a message about unusual call volume and left my info. Still no callback the next day. I'm really frustrated with how this company operates now that they've consolidated.
Really happy with what I ordered! A couple of items arrived damaged, which sometimes happens with big orders. Would appreciate getting a replacement or refund for those damaged pieces. Hope you can reach out to help me with that.
Ordered on October 10th and the site promised 4 to 8 days. By November 7th, I still didn't have it. Their Facebook page seems sketchy too. When I originally found them there, the ads had lots of positive comments, but now those comments are gone or the comments are turned off. Doesn't look good. I won't be ordering from them again.
