GE sent someone out to replace that defective part. Now fast forward to fifteen months later and that same part crapped out again, making the exact same terrible noise. Now GE is saying I've got to pay for this repair since it's past the warranty period. All I can say is what a RIP-OFF. I'm putting both that piece of junk dryer and the matching washer on the local classifieds immediately and purchasing appliances from a brand that actually cares about quality. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER GE PRODUCT EVER AGAIN.
