What Shoppers Say About Little Tikes
Little Tikes is rated 1.6 out of 5 by 24 shoppers, with significant dissatisfaction reflected in reviews. Customers report serious issues with customer service responsiveness, warranty claim denials despite meeting requirements, and poor return policies that often cost more than the products themselves. Several shoppers describe receiving damaged or incorrect items with slow replacement processes, and complaints about misleading Facebook advertisements leading to undelivered orders with unhelpful automated support responses.
A small portion of reviewers express continued loyalty to the brand, but the overwhelming majority indicate that Little Tikes no longer maintains the quality and customer care standards they remember from decades past. Common frustrations include complex assembly requirements, unhelpful instruction manuals, and a warranty program that appears designed to deny claims rather than protect customers. Shoppers consistently recommend purchasing toys from competitors with more reliable customer service and return policies.

Sorted by: Most recentI spent half an hour trying to build this slide and I'm genuinely upset about it. The design and materials are just not good. The plastic spindle is weak while the metal end caps are overly strong, making it nearly impossible to attach them properly without them sitting crooked. Following the instructions to lay it on its side doesn't help because there's nothing supporting the spindle from underneath. The feet at the bottom are poorly designed too and my child dented them just by standing on the product. This definitely doesn't live up to its name of being easy. I really enjoyed Little Tikes products in the past but I won't be buying from them again.
I'd strongly advise against buying Little Tikes products. The quality has gotten so much worse while the prices keep going up. My son got a bounce house that fell apart after just three weeks. I reached out to customer service and they said the product wasn't available and to return it to the retailer I bought it from, which didn't make sense since it's sold at tons of places. This is just another big corporation that cares more about making money than about customers or quality.
I ordered a Little Tikes fire truck for my little boy's first birthday and there was inventory showing online when I bought it. They charged me right away but then seven days later they cancelled my order and issued a refund. I'm stuck waiting for the money to come back because they couldn't fulfill the order. It's a disappointment and they didn't even offer an apology or alternative option.
My castle arrived with a door that kept falling off. When I got a replacement, it wouldn't even lock together properly. Not only will they not refund me but now I have to pay my garbage company to pick up both items because Little Tikes won't help. I called their customer service several times and they didn't care at all. I won't be ordering from them again.
Little Tikes' distributor Playpower took full payment upfront for a big playground addition back in 2021. We're now almost September 2022 and still waiting for delivery. We've dealt with month after month of broken promises and delivery dates that never happen, with excuses about shipping problems. But that shouldn't matter because these parts either exist and are ready or they don't. If they're not available, say so instead of making promises. The summer season is basically over at this point. We're going to ask for our money back.
I can't even give this company one star honestly. Definitely never purchasing from here again. Their customer service was incredibly rude and unhelpful.
Don't spend your money on expensive Little Tikes items like I did. I bought a bouncy house with a water slide for over four hundred dollars and my two and four year old had a blast with it. After about two months the material started pulling apart in a spot that nobody even touches during normal play, so of course it wouldn't stay inflated. I sent pictures of my receipt, the damage, the serial number and everything they requested. I had already thrown it away so I couldn't cut out the logo, but I sent pictures of the inflated house with the Little Tikes name visible and closeups of the tear. When I initially reached out I didn't even ask for a new one, I just wanted a patch kit. They looked at everything and said they'd send a replacement. Then later they said no because I couldn't show them the logo cut out. That doesn't make sense when I already gave them what they needed.
I contacted them about an item I bought somewhere else, and I explained that upfront in my first message. I listed the item and all the problems clearly. Their response asked for way more information and details that I'd already given them. I sent everything they requested again just to be told they couldn't help because it was exclusive to that retailer. They could have saved me time by actually reading my first email. It seems like a big waste of customer service when they don't even read what you send. Little Tikes used to be such a trusted brand, so why not invest in better customer support?
I ordered a Little Tikes toy for my grandson's birthday and the site said it was in stock. Most companies get back to you within a couple days about when something will ship or if there's a problem. Not here. A week went by with no communication at all. I tried emailing and called twice that afternoon but was just told someone would call me back, which never happened. When I phoned a different number, they said I should email about getting a refund, but I haven't heard anything back on that either. Really frustrated with how this has been handled.
I had a really frustrating experience with their customer service. I lost a couple screws for a sink toy and asked if they sold replacement parts. Since we're in a lockdown situation and I can't go into stores, I couldn't figure out what size to order online. A rep said they'd send a replacement, which excited me, but then they wanted me to destroy the product and send them a photo of it before throwing it away. That seemed incredibly wasteful since the toy works fine and my kids still use it. I declined and said I wasn't comfortable destroying a perfectly good item just to get a replacement.
