After placing my order, I've been trying to contact them daily through their customer service phone and email with no results. The company operates under the Shock Doctor brand and is owned by United Sports Brands, yet neither outfit responds to complaints through their listed contact information. This feels like a scam.
In my experience, McDavid has really poor customer support and I'd recommend looking elsewhere for your needs.
I placed an order for two shoulder braces, two back braces, and an elbow brace back in May and still haven't received anything. They had no problem charging my credit card right away though. Their shipping and customer service are absolutely terrible. I tried calling but nobody picks up. I'm done with them and won't order from this company again. I'm telling everyone to shop with other brands instead. They advertise as USA made, but honestly I'm pretty sure their stuff comes from China anyway. The quality is awful. Don't waste your money on them or you'll be sorry.
I was swayed by all the five-star reviews posted on their site and Google, thinking the company and products were top-notch. I paid extra for fast shipping since I urgently needed a brace for a fracture. It's been almost five business days and I haven't gotten any shipping confirmation email. I sent them an email two days ago with no response, so I called instead. They tell you to email with order questions, but they clearly don't read their messages. When I got through on the phone, the rep said they'd have to look into whether my order shipped or if their system just wasn't updated properly, which doesn't make sense. Either way, their customer service is really bad. I think they're either dragging their feet on shipping or taking the extra money for expedited shipping without actually delivering on it. One agent even suggested they'd ship whenever they felt like it.
