What Shoppers Say About Pactimo
Pactimo shoppers have mixed experiences with the company's cycling gear. Those who are satisfied praise the quality and comfort of items like bibs and jerseys, noting that products perform as advertised. However, dissatisfied customers report significant issues: pricing that undercuts local options but still feels high when shipping is added, product performance failures (such as a cold-weather jacket that didn't provide adequate warmth in mild temperatures), and frustration with customer service responsiveness. The account creation requirement and pushy marketing approach are additional pain points mentioned by reviewers.
At 2.3 out of 5 based on 3 reviews, Pactimo shows polarized feedback with no middle ground ratings. Customers either find genuine value in the gear quality or encounter problems serious enough to prompt negative reviews.

Sorted by: Most recentHad to create an account just to make a purchase, which was annoying. I needed one jersey since the local ride organizers don't source them for riders anymore. Regular ride jerseys go for about $85 these days, up from the $75 they used to charge. This one from the company though costs $95, then they tack on shipping and handling fees, and somehow they overcharge you on taxes by around a dollar. This is the first and last time I'm ordering anything from them. If other cycling groups start using this vendor, I'll probably skip getting their ride jerseys too.
Their cycling gear is fantastic and I've been really happy with my purchases. The bibs are honestly the most comfortable ones I've ever owned. I have several other items from them that are solid quality and perform exactly as advertised. My only real complaint is their marketing approach, which comes across as pushy and disrespectful. They ignore your email preferences and just keep hammering you with messages constantly. Fair warning: you'll probably need to unsubscribe from their mailing list after each order.
Bought an Alpine Cycling Jacket back in August that was supposed to handle cold weather, but when I wore it in September at 55 degrees, it completely failed to do its job and keep me warm. I'm really disappointed with both the product and how the company handled everything. Here's what frustrated me: First, the jacket just doesn't perform like they claim it should. Second, the advertising for this thing is misleading. Third, their customer service was awful. When I emailed them, they actually denied receiving my messages even though I had confirmation receipts. And fourth, the solution they offered wasn't acceptable. I can't recommend this company or their products to anyone.
