This is the second time their website has tricked me. The descriptions and photos of items, plus how they look on models, are completely misleading. What you get is way smaller and the workmanship is really poor. Don't waste your cash on this.

It's hard to understand why a brand like Vera Bradley isn't putting more effort into customer service when there's so much competition these days. They have pretty patterns and nice quilted bags that are recognizable, sure, but that's not enough anymore to win shoppers over. Good service is what actually matters to people now. Stores like Nordstrom have raised the bar on customer care, and newer online brands deliver amazing responsiveness and personal touches that make customers feel valued. People expect better, and when Vera Bradley doesn't deliver, whether that's slow email responses, reps who don't really help, or frustrating policies, it signals that they don't care about keeping customers. That's risky. Younger shoppers especially want to shop at places that listen and support them. In a world where switching to a competitor is easy, skimping on service is more than just a weakness. It's dangerous for the business.

I contacted Vera Bradley immediately after placing an online order to update my shipping address, but they refused to make the change saying it was already processing. That wasn't true because my order didn't actually ship for three days. Other retailers have no problem fixing this kind of thing, and I even offered to pay for a new label. When my bag finally showed up, I was shocked at the decline in quality compared to a similar bag I bought years ago. The hardware and piping used to be so detailed, but now everything feels flimsy. Some seams are coming loose too. My older bag held up great through years of daily use, so this newer one feels like a totally different product. I was worried I'd gotten a fake, which is crazy since I ordered straight from the company.

Stay away from ordering anything from here. I bought a bag and wallet but they sent me sunglasses instead. Now they won't give me a full refund unless I ship the sunglasses back to China on my dime, and they actually told me not to because they might disappear. If I don't send them back, they're only refunding thirty-five percent of what I paid. This company is a total joke and completely dishonest.

I made an order but accidentally used the wrong card. The customer service team was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Multiple people have warned me their staff is difficult and they were right. I order online all the time and I've never had this much of a headache. Bad employees, bad company, bad website.

Their prices have always seemed crazy high to me. I picked up a secondhand one for basically nothing. The label says it's made in China. Don't pay what they're asking for these things. It's not worth it.

I've been buying Vera Bradley since the late nineties, so I've been a fan for quite a while. My sister recently got me a bag from their outlet store and I'm really disappointed. The lining is cheap nylon that's not even attached to the inside, so when you fill the pockets they just flop around. There's also a cardboard base that's glued in, so you can't throw the bag in the washing machine to clean it. Overall the construction just isn't there. Plus it's a style they don't even sell in their regular stores. I've found out that a lot of manufacturers create lower quality versions just for outlet stores. It's sad that Vera Bradley does this too.

Skip ordering online from this place. They pull every trick in the book to mess with customers. This was my first purchase and I thought they'd be legit since so many people carry their bags and they've been around forever. The customer service chat was completely useless when I tried to get help.

My bag collection is fantastic. The products are really well made overall. I did have a couple minor problems with two separate bags, but a customer service representative helped me work through both issues without any hassle.
