What Shoppers Say About Adidas UK
Adidas UK receives consistently poor ratings from shoppers, with 17 reviews averaging 1.0 out of 5. Customers report severe frustration with customer service quality, citing unresponsive staff, copy-paste responses, unclear communication, and inability to resolve issues effectively. Specific complaints include refund handling failures that leave customers out of pocket, delays in e-gift card delivery despite promised quick processing, shipping problems involving coordination with Royal Mail including packages that never arrive despite tracking updates, and gift card balance discrepancies where accounts show zero balance after allegedly being used on orders from different time periods. Shoppers describe internal systems that do not communicate properly and feel left without recourse when problems occur.
While some reviewers acknowledge positive aspects like free shipping offers, these minor benefits are vastly outweighed by the core service failures. The overwhelming consensus is that despite Adidas's size and resources as a major international brand, the UK operation fails to deliver basic customer support standards. Shoppers express particular frustration that complaints go unaddressed or receive vague, unhelpful responses, leaving them unresolved and without confidence in the company's ability to make things right.

Sorted by: Most recentI've been a loyal customer for over forty years and have spent thousands on Adidas stuff. I got a pair of trainers that I couldn't even wear because they rubbed my heel so raw they made me bleed every time. Adidas refused to swap them out or give me my money back, and it ended up costing them more in postage to send them back than anything else. I'm done with Adidas for good.
I ordered a basketball shirt for my son on a Thursday and got a notification it would arrive Sunday. It never showed up. I emailed Adidas with no response and still don't have the shirt. I will never buy from Adidas online again. The service and support are absolutely terrible.
Terrible experience shopping online here. They show discount vouchers under products that you can't actually use on those items. It's misleading and false advertising. When I complained, customer service just brushed me off and didn't take it seriously at all. I'm switching to Nike.
Horrible service and I'm out one hundred ten pounds. I bought shoes that arrived in a completely different size than any other Adidas pair I own. I told them they were at least two sizes smaller than my usual size from that brand and asked for an exchange. They told me to ship them back. When they got them, they said because I'd added some letters to them they wouldn't take responsibility even though the size was wrong as advertised. So now they have my shoes and my money and basically said too bad. If this wasn't such an established company you'd think it was a scam. Absolute disgrace. I got an email later from their support team saying sorry, we have your money and you have no shoes, but check it out, you're a level one member and only need 750 points to go to the next level. You can earn more by shopping and writing reviews. Are you serious? Keep giving you money while you get nothing back?
What a ridiculous company. You get a different person replying to your emails every time and they never bother reading any of your previous messages or understanding the actual problem. I've been told the exact same thing about twenty times now, and what they're saying isn't even possible. Is there anyone at Adidas who can actually look at the email chain and give a solution that makes sense? Adidas let me order a racket that was out of stock. After more than three weeks they cancelled it, took away my discount code, and credited the refund to a gift card I can't even access. There was zero mention of making it right until I kept pushing. Eventually an agent agreed to compensation over messaging and said they'd email the details within an hour. Never got that email. I sent them a screenshot of the conversation and now they're just telling me what they said at the very beginning again. Complete waste of time. I'm out almost fifty pounds and I lost my discount code on top of it.
I bought a pair of Adidas sneakers for my son not even four weeks ago, and the Velcro strap fell apart. The entire piece of Velcro that holds the top of the shoe closed just ripped away from the stitching. It didn't gradually come loose either, it completely separated, which means the shoe won't stay on at all. My son can't even wear it anymore. This is clearly a manufacturing defect with how they attached that strap, especially since the shoes are brand new and only used for normal everyday wear. I contacted Adidas expecting them to help out. Instead they said I have to send the defective pair back first before they'll replace it. I told them these are my son's only shoes and it's winter, so he has nothing to wear in the meantime. The rep refused to budge on the policy. For a company like Adidas, the quality and the way they treat customers is really disappointing.
This is complete garbage from such a massive corporation. I ordered some trainers that showed they were in stock. The expected delivery date came and went with absolutely nothing from Adidas. I reached out to customer service and found out it's actually on back order. Now I'm being told it'll take another two days just to cancel the order. This is unacceptable from a company this size. Stay away.
