What Shoppers Say About Carbon2Cobalt
Carbon2Cobalt receives predominantly negative feedback, with 2.0 out of 5 from 22 shoppers. The most consistent complaints center on quality issues, including cheap fabric that wears poorly, color variations that appear dull compared to product photos, and sizing problems where garments fit unexpectedly small or short. Customer service accessibility is a major pain point, with shoppers reporting nonfunctional contact email addresses, inability to ship to addresses different from billing addresses, and long hold times when calling. A small segment of loyal customers report consistently positive experiences and praise the store's style and build quality, but these voices are significantly outnumbered.
Shoppers considering Carbon2Cobalt should be aware of the high volume of quality and service complaints before purchasing. The store's website usability issues, combined with reports of merchandise not matching product photography, suggest customers should have realistic expectations and thorough communication channels in place before ordering, particularly for gifts or higher-priced items.

Sorted by: Most recentTheir customer service email plastered all over the website is basically fake. I found that email address in at least 8 different spots on their site, supposedly so you could contact them. Not a single one actually worked. When I tried sending an email directly, I got a delivery failure notice back. Typing it into my browser did nothing either. Meanwhile, the link to their email signup for deals works perfectly fine. I'm guessing this isn't accidental.
Bought a bracelet thinking the colors would pop like they do in the pictures. Turns out the colors are really dull and you can barely tell there's even a color variation. I'd skip ordering jewelry from this store.
The merchandise wasn't up to par, sizes were totally off, and their customer service is a nightmare. Got medium bottoms and a large top for loungewear so I'd have some extra breathing room. I'm tall and thin, pants fit okay but looked cheap in person. The top, even in large which I normally don't wear, was way too short. The quality just wasn't there at all. When I rang them up to complain and ask for a manager callback, nothing. Total letdown with their service and the stuff I got.
Can't believe you can't enter a different shipping address from your billing one. This was supposed to be a gift and I couldn't figure out how to send it anywhere else. Really annoying. The chat person told me I had to phone them, and I waited on hold for 20 minutes. They'd probably handle way more customers if you could just do it through the website.
I'm shocked by all the negative feedback on here. I've been a loyal customer of Carbon2Cobalt for quite a while now, buying for myself and as gifts for family members throughout the year. Never had a single issue, just consistently great things to say about their style and build. Look, you can't please everyone, but this company honestly deserves much better ratings than what's showing up. Just dropped another $300 plus on them today for holiday gifts, and I'm thrilled about it. If the prices don't work for your budget, that's on you for making the purchase in the first place.
Really let down by how cheap the fabric feels on these items. I've been buying my guy's stuff from Carbon 2 Cobalt since 2019. Last year I got him four pairs of the same shorts - three one color, one another color. Three of the four literally ripped in the identical spot! At $89 a pop, I expected way more durability. Even the sleep shorts I grabbed him years back have eventually fallen apart with holes everywhere. Same story with the tees I ordered; within a year they're covered in tiny holes along the bottom.
Straight up scam. Got a pair of boots delivered and they looked completely different from what was on the website. When I sent them back, the company claimed they were used even though they weren't, and refused to issue a refund. Total ripoff. This place uses misleading photos to trick you into buying cheap stuff that isn't what they show. Skip this company entirely. Carbon2Cobalt is a total fraud.
Been trying to get off their catalogue mailing list. Spent over 10 minutes on hold trying to reach a real person. Called back twice. There's got to be a better option for unsubscribing from their catalogs instead of wasting everyone's time.
Great quality and fair prices with quick shipping. Bought 4 tees, a jacket, and a poncho and we're totally happy with them. I'll say though, the shipping and return stuff is worrisome. In this day and age, if I'm buying something I can't see in person and returns are complicated, I probably won't take the risk.
Got a pair of sweatpants as a holiday gift. After the holidays, they sent instructions to wash cold and hang dry. Anyway, I threw them in the machine and they shrank up like pedal pushers, which was unacceptable. Went through their return process and sent them back. The warehouse accepted it for a refund but knocked off $7.95 from what I got back for their prepaid label. That's the last time I'm ordering from them.
