Their warranty is basically useless. I bought a skillet from an authorized retailer and it arrived damaged. I reached out about their warranty coverage but they refused to replace it, saying the warranty doesn't apply to items bought through other retailers. They also claim they don't carry stock for products made specifically for those retailers. So if you purchase through anyone other than them directly, their warranty protection is worthless.

Stacks up well against other major brands in my opinion. I've got quite the collection: two cast iron skillets of different sizes, a combination dutch oven, two carbon steel skillets, a carbon steel grill pan, a griddle, and a chainmail cleaner. The surface texture on Lodge's cast iron and carbon steel is rougher than competitors like Matfer and others, but honestly hasn't caused me any problems. I'm constantly cooking on my larger skillets and dutch oven without issues.
