ROKA Reviews
What Shoppers Say About ROKA
ROKA receives highly polarized feedback with significant quality and durability concerns. Multiple reviewers report frames breaking within days or weeks of purchase, with temples snapping and materials feeling rigid or stiff. Additional complaints include aggressive upselling during checkout, poor shipping tracking updates, unresponsive customer support, difficulty with order cancellations, and high prices relative to perceived value. However, a segment of satisfied customers praise the craftsmanship and quality of the eyewear itself, highlighting features like attention to detail and included accessories. One reviewer specifically commended customer service representative Emily for exceptional service recovery.
The stark divide in ratings suggests ROKA may struggle with consistency in product durability and quality control across different styles and orders. While some customers consider the eyewear worth the premium price and report excellent individual service experiences, the prevalence of structural failures and frustration with company policies has resulted in a low overall rating. Potential buyers should weigh the positive craftsmanship testimonials against the considerable risk of durability issues and challenging return processes.

Sorted by: Most recentAbsolutely horrible support. They clearly don't care about doing their jobs properly and their staff comes across as really unprofessional. Don't waste your time or money here. Just steer clear.
Placed my order for a wetsuit more than a week ago but the tracking number doesn't work and it still hasn't shown up. I was told it would be here yesterday but the customer service team just keeps giving me the runaround. Still waiting on my order.
I ordered a wetsuit with next day delivery promised on my confirmation. That was days ago and still nothing. I've sent six emails trying to get answers but nobody's replied to a single one. No clue when or where my order is coming from. They were quick to process my payment but won't be upfront about shipping. It's frustrating not knowing what's happening with my order when nobody bothers answering my messages.
Don't buy from this company. The tiny clip strap on my goggles broke right after my two year warranty ended. When I reached out, they said they flat out don't sell replacement parts for swimming goggles. That's ridiculous because every other goggle brand like Tyr, Speedo, and Barracuda offers replacement parts. Now I'm stuck tossing them in the trash. Definitely go with Speedo, Tyr, or basically anyone else instead.
My order came in short about seven hundred dollars worth of merchandise. For a company of their size, this is unacceptable and unprofessional. I'd recommend checking out other options for your eyewear needs instead.
It's been two weeks and I still don't have my sunglasses. Yeah, they mentioned it would take a week to build and ship, which I understood, but it's already been six days since they shipped and I'm using some strange method combining USPS and DHL. Delivery is taking way longer than expected.
Picked up some white Matador sunglasses in 2021 and less than a year later the frames turned noticeably yellow. I reached out to support about the warranty and they refused because I bought them through an authorized physical retailer instead of directly. They told me to take it up with that retailer, but they'd already stopped selling Roka stuff so they didn't have any replacements. The company basically washed their hands of the situation and I was stuck with defective glasses. Skip Roka - the product durability is disappointing.
I was excited based on all the YouTube and Instagram hype but I'm really let down by the actual quality. They feel like the cheap sunglasses you'd grab at a gas station for ten bucks. The lenses are super thin and flimsy, and the frames are basically cheap plastic too. The adjustable nose grips are nice, but that's honestly the only positive thing about them. At this price point, you'd be better off getting Raybans instead.
Enjoyed the meal as usual but seven dollars for just lettuce is pretty pricey.
