My experience with Spyder was terrible on every level. Spent nearly a thousand bucks across several purchases and they treated me poorly. Wanted to trade a jacket for a smaller size but needed them to price match what I paid before. Their service rep shut me down, and when I asked for a manager she said no to applying the original sale price as a credit. They wouldn't even do it as a one time favor considering how much I've spent. On top of that their return policy is complicated and expensive. They won't let you send back multiple separate orders in one package, so you end up paying for separate return shipments. It's a scheme to make customers pay extra fees. If they had actual stores where you try things on first, half these problems wouldn't happen. I'm done with them completely and recommend shopping elsewhere.
The quality of Spyder products has really gone downhill. I've been buying their stuff for over 40 years so I know what good quality looks like. Sent in a jacket for warranty work and paid shipping. They fixed the broken zipper and pocket wrong, then corrected it after I sent photos. Then they lost it in shipping back to me and never told me. When I finally got a replacement it was cheap quality nothing like what it should've been. Won't respond to my messages anymore. Seven months dealing with this is absolutely ridiculous.
Website showed the price as $89 but when the item arrived it had a new tag marked $79. I'm happy with what I got but the pricing thing really bothered me.
Absolutely terrible company. Been trying to get customer service to respond by email for over a month with no luck. Messaged them on every social media account they have and got ignored on all of them. Even filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they still won't respond. This is hands down the worst business I've ever dealt with. I had basic questions about pricing and needed return help. They take your money and disappear. Don't get fooled by their athlete endorsements. Skip Spyder entirely. Good luck getting support if you need it.
