Don't use this company for gifts. They won't keep you informed about shipping delays, and when you find out on your own that something's delayed, they won't let you cancel. Their suggestion is just to return it, which doesn't work well for gifts. They're hard to reach and there are better places to shop.
I've been a customer for years and problems come up almost every single time. I just placed an order for over $500 and somehow got charged twice using PayPal Credit, even though I never authorized two payments and only placed one order. I contacted customer service right away to cancel the duplicate charge. Their response was ridiculous: they said I just have to wait for both shipments to arrive and then return everything. This isn't my mistake, but they're cool with tying up my money for weeks. They have decent products and decent sales sometimes, but their customer service is awful and they don't have a phone number you can call. I'd rather shop elsewhere if I can find the same items anywhere else. Avoid this company's terrible support.
This company is misleading its customers. I ordered a cleaning tools set that was labeled as being made in France with four tools that all had handles. I got the set with only three handles, and when I complained, they said one handle was interchangeable. That's not true at all, the handle doesn't have a groove and clearly wasn't designed to be detachable. The whole set was overpriced and low quality, with a crack on one handle and poor finishing. The tools don't even match in color, so they don't look like a cohesive set. There was already a customer review on the product page from over a year ago mentioning the exact same issue, so they've had plenty of time to fix the product description. I tried to leave my own review to warn other shoppers but couldn't figure out how to post it.
I ordered something in early December for over $400 with an expected delivery around December 21st for the holidays. They said it would ship by end of day on the 19th, then that same night told me they were out of stock and cancelled my order. Six days before Christmas. This company is disorganized and unreliable. Total scam! I ordered a Dansk Kobenstyle saucepan in early December. The site said the delivery date was December 9th, but that turned out to mean the shipping date, not delivery. My order status stayed stuck on pending for days. There's no phone support, and their website says they have live chat, but that doesn't actually exist. I emailed asking about the delay and got a response about shipping, but when I requested cancellation, nothing happened. The company won't respond. On top of everything, once you order, they spam your inbox with endless marketing emails about recipes and deals. I asked to unsubscribe and they ignored that too.
Got double charged on my order and customer service hasn't done anything about it. No refund issued. Nightmare.
Returning items through this company was awful. Despite asking multiple times, they never sent return labels for all my items. The label they did send had the wrong item listed for credit. I'm stuck with merchandise, including something that came damaged. They stopped responding to my emails after that. I'm done with this site and won't be back.
