I ordered an Ogio Silencer golf bag as a Christmas present back in November and haven't heard anything. Three weeks later I called to check on it and found out it was on backorder. They said it would arrive in early January, then late January, then February 9th, and now they're saying maybe end of February. Customer service is basically nonexistent.
I ordered something with next day delivery but two days went by without any updates. When I checked my account online, I saw the order had been cancelled without me being notified.
The customer service here is the absolute worst, and their warranty is basically fake. I rely on my Rig 9800 bag, but when issues come up, they treat the warranty differently depending on who you are. Other customers have the same problems and get help, but they won't do anything for me. This is hands down the poorest service I've ever had to deal with.
Don't count on Ogio's so-called lifetime warranty. I bought a wheeled briefcase-style bag in Australia that had a manufacturing defect right out of the box. The main handle was attached with cheap plastic that snapped during normal use, making the whole bag unusable. When I tried to get help under their lifetime warranty, things got complicated because the distributor had changed between when I bought it and when I contacted them. I still have my receipt, which is what their warranty requires, but the new distributor and the US headquarters both refused to help. The lifetime warranty is just marketing hype, not a real guarantee.
Someone gave me an Ogio bag as a gift that turned out to have some serious factory issues. It took a while to figure out why the thing was basically unusable, but when I did, I realized the problem was how it was put together. Then I saw their advertising talking about incredible quality and a lifetime warranty, so I gave them a call. First thing, read the fine print on that lifetime warranty. It says you need the original receipt, and not everybody keeps receipts from every purchase ever. The warranty doesn't cover normal wear, which makes sense, but even manufacturing defects aren't covered if the item was a gift or you lost your receipt. They also redefine what lifetime means on their site, saying the expected lifetime varies based on how you use the product. So basically, lifetime is whatever they decide it is. You won't get help through their online support, they just send you a form email telling you to call. I did call and spoke with a helpful guy who offered me a big discount if I wanted to buy a brand new bag instead.
Update: Got a shipping confirmation email for my second order five days after placing it, but still waiting on my first refund. Originally I placed an order on January 13th and they charged my card but didn't send anything for twelve days. When I noticed a better discount was available, I called customer service to cancel so I could reorder at the lower price. The rep was nice and processed the cancellation over the phone. I got a cancellation email, then a confirmation a couple days later saying I'd get another email if my card had been charged. A week passed with no refund and no email updates. I went ahead and placed another order to grab that discount, but they charged me without sending any order confirmation or order number. I emailed asking about both the refund from my first cancellation and confirmation of my new order but haven't received a complete response.
