What Shoppers Say About Radisson Rewards
Radisson Rewards receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from members, rated 1.7 out of 5 by 18 shoppers. Recurring complaints center on poor customer service, including unanswered concerns and ignored feedback even at top loyalty tiers. Members report inconsistent point crediting (with data entry errors leading to points not posting to accounts), refusal of promised upgrades and late checkout accommodations, and housekeeping interruptions despite requests. Several reviewers note that advertised special member rates do not compete with third-party booking sites, and property maintenance issues are attributed to management failures to uphold chain standards.
A small minority of reviewers (17 percent) rate the program favorably, though their specific praise is not detailed in available reviews. Most members express a sense of betrayal, describing the loyalty program's point system as feeling like a scam given the difficulty in earning and redeeming rewards paired with poor service recognition at higher membership tiers.

Sorted by: Most recentThe rewards support team is absolutely useless. They can't seem to understand basic questions and never give you answers to what you're actually asking about. Instead they answer something completely different. It's painfully obvious this is an outsourced call center with staff who don't know their own product. It's so aggravating, and honestly Radisson is going to lose plenty of business because of their terrible support. I'm a VIP member and I'm seriously rethinking my choice to stay loyal to them.
The support team for this rewards program is absolutely terrible. They seem incapable of actually understanding what you're asking and instead give answers to questions you never asked in the first place. It's obvious they're staffing call centers with people who have no real knowledge of the product. The whole experience is incredibly frustrating, and frankly Radisson is going to lose customers because of this poor service. I'm a VIP member and I'm seriously reconsidering my loyalty.
They deliberately manipulate the dates of stays to prevent you from getting the upgrades outlined in their loyalty program terms. The entire program has gone downhill.
They intentionally alter the dates on your stays so you won't qualify for the upgrades you're supposed to get according to their loyalty terms. This program has become absolutely terrible.
This company behaves dishonestly in their business practices. After the separation from Radisson Americas, I've had all my points disappear and they can no longer be redeemed with any Radisson group hotels.
This company operates in a completely deceptive manner. After they split from Radisson Americas operations, all my accumulated points became worthless and I can no longer use them anywhere in the Radisson family of hotels.
I spent over two hours just trying to book a single room for next year. The website shows availability and even says the room is reserved for you, but the moment you try to complete the booking you get an error that says something went wrong. Tried it on two different computers and even downloaded the mobile app, but the problem happens everywhere. I called customer service and got someone who barely speaks English with what sounded like a crying baby in the background. He told me the error happens because the room isn't available, which makes zero sense since it's showing as available on the screen and I get the same error no matter what dates or locations I try. I'm really disappointed in how much the quality of Radisson has dropped, so I'm switching all my bookings to Hilton instead.
After the rewards system update in summer of 2021, I couldn't access my account anymore. Even after making several calls to support, I finally got back in only to discover that my 120,000 points had completely vanished. I spent three months going back and forth with support, sending them copies of my bills and bank statements that clearly proved my stays and the points I had earned. They just ignored all of my evidence. I'm still out all those points today. This is absolutely a scam and fraudulent activity. If you care about earning points, stay at a different hotel chain.
