What Shoppers Say About Stance
Stance socks receive sharply divided opinions from shoppers. Supporters praise the designs, comfort, and fit of the actual socks themselves, with some customers noting they have owned pairs for years that remain in good condition. However, the majority of recent reviews reflect serious operational and quality concerns that overshadow the product itself.
Recurring complaints center on unresponsive customer service, with shoppers reporting difficulty reaching support through phone, email, or social media. Shipping delays and order processing issues are frequently mentioned, along with inconsistent sizing that makes online purchases unreliable. Several reviewers also report that newer Stance socks deteriorate quickly, developing holes within a year of light wear, which contradicts the quality seen in older pairs. Refund requests have been denied even for products with fit or durability problems. The membership program is criticized as not delivering value given these service failures.

Sorted by: Most recentPlaced an order two weeks ago and it still hasn't shipped or even been processed as far as I can tell. My card was charged but nothing's happening on their end. The service is bad enough but trying to reach customer support through phone, social media, or email is basically impossible. The actual socks are good quality but I'd skip ordering from their website.
Used to be my favorite place to shop for socks and I had a membership too. Now it's just wasting my money. The membership isn't worth it, navigating the website is a pain, and there's nothing special about them anymore.
I own a bunch of Stance socks and started collecting them years ago with some Harley Davidson pairs. I typically buy from other retailers after reading negative reviews about them, but their socks are legitimately fantastic. Even though their customer service is rough, I keep buying them elsewhere because the designs, fit, and comfort are top notch.
Terrible customer service and the sizing is way off. Their sock sizing seems random and inconsistent. I ordered mediums that were way too big and smalls that were too tight. Their website says small and youth large fit the same shoe sizes but they definitely don't. When I asked for a refund on socks that don't fit, they turned me down. They also wouldn't give me any kind of discount code to buy the right size even though I spent a lot on socks I can't even wear. Their sizing info doesn't match up with what you get. Plus these are pricey socks so getting ones that don't fit is frustrating. Not happy.
Like some others have mentioned, I have older pairs that are still fantastic. The newer ones though are pretty disappointing. They're basically the same as cheap socks you'd grab off a regular store shelf. Better to skip them.
They look great when you first get them but they fall apart fast. I spent a lot of money on four pairs and within about a year they had holes worn through the bottoms and heels. Can't even wear them anymore. I barely wore them regularly either. I have cheaper socks that have lasted five years without falling apart. Not worth it.
Their socks used to be amazing but over the last couple years they've gone downhill fast. The quality just isn't there anymore. I can't support this brand like I used to.
Really liked the socks and boxers so I put in a bunch of orders totaling about 200 this year. One pair got a hole the very first time I wore them. I've reached out to Stance twice over a couple weeks and haven't gotten a single response back.
Really dig their products overall. Site navigation could use some work though. I've been getting their monthly underwear subscription for a while now and I'm really impressed. The socks and t-shirts feel amazing, and their butterblend underwear is seriously the best I've ever worn. Wish they offered a t-shirt subscription option too because I'd sign up immediately.
The actual products are solid and my boyfriend loves them but the customer service is incredibly frustrating. I had a technical problem on their website preventing me from checking out, plus there were other issues like bad search results and my cart kept resetting. They told me to reach out directly so I did, but they just kept reading my messages without ever responding. It's been months now. I ended up buying my underwear elsewhere since the holidays passed. Great socks. Terrible support.
