What Shoppers Say About STAUD
STAUD shoppers are deeply dissatisfied with the brand's order fulfillment and customer service. Recurring complaints include missing shipments with no tracking updates, orders arriving weeks late or not at all, items shipped in damaged or used condition despite premium pricing, unresponsive customer support that fails to address issues promptly, and unexpected return shipping charges. Shoppers report charged upfront shipping fees, items arriving in poor condition, and difficulty obtaining return labels or exchanges within the stated return window.
A small portion of recent buyers express satisfaction with the brand (24 percent five-star ratings), suggesting some positive experiences exist, though these are vastly outnumbered by reports of failed orders and poor service. The combination of high prices (items ranging from $200 to $400 and above), unreliable delivery, quality issues, and unresponsive support has led multiple shoppers to characterize STAUD as untrustworthy and to warn others against purchasing from the store.

Sorted by: Most recentI really wanted to grab one of their decorated Tommy bags for a special occasion. It's been nearly two weeks with zero updates on where my order is. The customer service folks are pleasant enough, but they keep misunderstanding that my shipment went missing and the carrier never received it in the first place. After tons of back-and-forth calls and messages, I'm no closer to answers. It feels like they're not really processing what I'm saying.
Won't be coming back after my first purchase. They charged shipping fees upfront, one item showed up in bad condition, and getting a return label took forever with multiple back-and-forths. Then they hit me with another charge for return shipping. Still waiting on my money. The clothes cost way too much for what you get, and the quality doesn't match the price. Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish.
Made a custom order that was supposed to take five to eight weeks. We're now at ten weeks and I can't get anyone to pick up or respond to emails. My order's going to be late and their team clearly doesn't care. I genuinely feel like this is a scam and I'm warning everyone I know to stay away.
I spent over two hundred dollars on a moon bag and they shipped me the wrong one. Right away I emailed their team asking for an exchange since I needed it fast and they only give you fourteen days for returns and switches. Sent another email midweek but haven't heard back and now it's the weekend. It's been seven days since I got the wrong bag and I'm leaving in a week. To make it worse, the bag they sent me costs less than what I paid so I'm out the difference. Will not be ordering from them again.
My very first order and it was supposed to be a birthday present to myself. Just got my delivery and I'm completely stunned and heartbroken. They sent me used boots for four hundred dollars. Not even on sale, supposed to be fresh stock. The box showed signs of damage. There's zero dust bag. The boots have creases, dirt underneath, and the internal padding looked nothing like it should. I want my money back immediately. The contact number on their website doesn't even work. This is absolutely fraudulent. How do you send worn boots at full price? I need a complete refund.
Bought a pair of shoes and got charged immediately. A week went by without any shipping notification. Reached out to support and waited four days for a response that just said they'd check with the warehouse. Two days later I got a generic message asking how I was enjoying my purchase. I replied that I hadn't even received it yet and warned I'd dispute the charge if I didn't hear back soon. The next morning they cancelled everything and said I'd get a refund. Now the shoes show out of stock even though they're still marked available for my size on the site. Here's what bugs me the most. If they're having supply chain problems, that's understandable. I wasn't in a rush. I would've gladly waited. But don't charge my card for stuff you don't have in stock. Customers shouldn't need to chase down the company for info on delayed orders. I work in order management and I can tell you their system is seriously flawed. The communication between their teams is a mess.
Stay away from this place. Had a gift card that wasn't working, needed three replacement cards before I could use it. When I tried to also apply a sale discount code to my purchase, the system wouldn't let me use both. Customer service told me I'd have to pay full price and they'd reimburse me the discount later. Then they said the discount only applied to one item instead of all items like it did when I tested it myself before realizing the gift card issue. I asked for a full refund on everything. A week passes and they say they can't cancel till the stuff is in stock. A month goes by with no contact from them at all. Finally I reach out and they suddenly remember me and send a refund confirmation but list the gift card as a discount. I have to go back and ask them to also refund the actual card amount to the person who gave it to me, and explain that a 200 dollar card isn't the same as a discount. Several more weeks later I realize they never refunded the extra money I paid even though they sent a confirmation and returned the gift card amount.
Everything everyone's been saying in negative reviews is spot on. Don't go there. I'm out $400 that I'll never get back since my refund never came through. They're seriously terrible.
