What Shoppers Say About Naturalizer
Naturalizer is rated 1.2 out of 5 by 21 shoppers, with the vast majority of reviews expressing significant dissatisfaction. Common complaints center on poor customer service responsiveness, with multiple shoppers reporting unanswered inquiries about returns, refunds, or order issues. Additional grievances include sizing inaccuracies (shoes arriving in wrong sizes), product quality concerns (misleading descriptions regarding materials, poor construction, fit issues causing blisters), and restrictive return policies that deny refunds even for defective items. Shoppers also report confusing website information regarding delivery times and difficulty navigating the site.
A small number of shoppers report positive experiences, citing early delivery and overall satisfaction with their purchases. However, these favorable reviews are vastly outnumbered by negative feedback. The overwhelmingly negative sentiment reflects deep concerns about product quality, accuracy of descriptions, sizing consistency, and customer service reliability that potential buyers should consider carefully.

Sorted by: Most recentGot boots from here and they didn't fit right. I walked around in them inside and got terrible blisters, bad enough that I can never wear them again. When I asked for my money back or store credit, they turned me down just because there was some dirt on the shoe. Since they don't make that boot anymore, I couldn't even size up. These people are awful. Now I'm stuck with a 160 dollar shoe I can't use. Don't shop there. Canadian customers especially should stay away.
I'm puzzled why so many people leave negative comments about this company because my experience has been nothing but positive. I'm writing from overseas, and back in late November I bought some boots for over 200 dollars using a payment plan. The site said they'd arrive by mid-December, but they showed up early in the second week of December, which is impressive given I'm on a different continent and the package had to travel through multiple stops and customs. The boots looked beautiful and matched the description perfectly. My own mistake was sizing incorrectly, I wasn't paying attention to the size conversion chart and ordered the wrong size. I requested a return through the website and got a return label in my email a few days later. The shoes are on their way back. Everything went smoothly, and if I'd been more careful with the sizing, I'd be enjoying my new boots right now.
I haven't experienced customer service this bad in years. Their website is super confusing too, when you place an order it promises next-day delivery, but their actual policy says one to two business days. And honestly, the shoes themselves aren't worth what they cost. Put your money somewhere else.
Really disappointed with this purchase. I bought sandals based on what the description said. It claimed the material was premium leather. It's not, it's fake. You only find out when you pick a color option. I contacted customer service less than three hours after buying to report this and cancel my order since I wanted actual leather. It took them a week to respond and they said it was final sale. Even though it says final sale, their site's description was misleading. Then after our call, the rep emailed me a return label anyway. That email promised my refund would go back to my original payment method. Instead, I got an e-gift card that only works in their store. I don't want to shop there anymore because I can't trust what the descriptions say, sometimes it's fake leather and sometimes it's supposedly premium, and there's no way for a customer to know which is true. Since their policy forces you to accept an e-gift card, and I don't want to risk being fooled again, I'm out.
I bought a pair of pumps from them and they were way off in terms of sizing. They're huge on my feet. I reached out with my concerns and even sent pictures, but I still haven't gotten a single response. Their customer service is awful, and they don't seem to want returns either. Plus the shoe construction was disappointing.
My experience with Naturalizer was really frustrating. I bought shoes in size 6, waited almost two weeks for them to come, and when they arrived, they were size 3. I tried getting in touch with their customer service right away asking for my money back and to return them, but no one's gotten back to me on any of my messages. It's unacceptable how they ignore you and don't take responsibility. I expected better from a company like this and won't be ordering anymore.
I ordered women's black patent pumps and when they came today, they were damaged. There are blemishes and light scratches on pretty much both shoes. I also paid an extra 25 dollars for one-day shipping. I spoke with their customer service and they offered me 19 dollars off or told me to just return them. The brand just doesn't have the quality it used to, and their support doesn't seem to actually care anymore either.
I got a pair of black patent leather heels in the mail today and they look rough. There are marks and scratches across both shoes. I'd even paid an extra 25 bucks for speedy delivery. When I called customer service, they offered me 19 dollars off or just said to send them back. The brand's old reputation for quality clearly doesn't apply anymore, and it seems like the company and their support team have stopped caring too.
I tried ordering twice using Venmo and PayPal, and both times my payment was blocked because they couldn't confirm my address. My address is the same as always and it matches across all my other financial accounts. The company kept my money for 5 to 7 days before returning it each time. This whole situation seems sketchy to me.
I've had trouble placing orders here twice now. When I tried to pay using Venmo and then PayPal, both payments got rejected because the system couldn't verify my address. This is frustrating since my address hasn't changed and it matches what I have on all my other accounts. Each time they held onto my money for 5 to 7 days before sending it back. Something about this whole process doesn't feel right.
