OGIO International Reviews
What Shoppers Say About OGIO International
OGIO International receives overwhelmingly negative feedback, with shoppers reporting significant durability issues and frustration with customer service. Multiple reviewers describe products failing within the first few uses, including handles snapping, wheels breaking, and straps ripping. Beyond product quality concerns, customers express frustration with unresponsive customer service teams, lengthy delays on refunds (some waiting over a month), and the company's refusal to honor warranties for items purchased through retailers rather than directly from OGIO. A small number of positive reviews highlight exceptional customer service in isolated cases, such as one customer receiving a complete replacement bag.
The recurring complaint centers on the disparity between OGIO's premium pricing and actual product durability. Shoppers note that bags costing over $200 should not experience structural failures during early use, and they express disappointment that the company does not stand behind its products uniformly. Design flaws also appear in feedback, including poorly functioning locking compartments in golf bags and a lack of interior organizational features in travel bags. The combination of durability issues, slow or unavailable customer service response, and restrictive warranty policies has left most recent reviewers advising against purchasing directly from OGIO.

Sorted by: Most recentMy Ogio layover bag fell apart during my third trip. I sent it back a couple months ago and I'm still waiting for my money back after over a month. I've called and emailed them repeatedly, and they keep telling me the refund is coming soon. This is terrible service. Skip buying from them directly.
I purchased a large travel bag online and it wasn't inexpensive. It arrived in good condition and seemed like a solid buy at first. On the second time I used it, the handle snapped off. Since then I haven't been able to reach anyone in customer service, whether by email or phone. When I did get someone on the line, they put me on hold, transferred me somewhere else, and then hung up on me. I'd recommend looking elsewhere.
Heads up: if you buy their stuff from a retailer instead of directly from them, they won't help you. My backpack's strap ripped out the third time I used it and they told me to contact the retailer since I didn't buy from them. What a useless company with a garbage product that they won't even stand behind.
Amazing customer service experience! My wheels on my 9800 broke and I asked about getting a replacement wheel set. Instead of just sending wheels, they shipped me a completely brand new bag! Really impressed.
We grabbed two Ogio Rig 9800 bags and the workmanship is excellent, really solid and durable. At over 230 pounds each, they're not cheap. The problem is that when the bag isn't packed full, everything inside shifts around like it's in a dryer. There are no interior straps to keep things in place, which you'd think would come standard on a bag at this price point. I've reached out to Ogio UK twice via email about possible fixes and haven't heard back. For a premium bag, I expected better support.
After playing golf for thirty-six years, the Ogio Silencer is hands down the worst golf bag I've ever used. The locking compartments that seemed smart on paper don't work well in practice. You constantly have to wiggle clubs around to get them to lock properly, and they don't slide in smoothly. The rubber flaps over the slots are poorly designed and will deteriorate quickly. Stability is another issue, mine has tipped off the trolley multiple times because there's no locking system at the base. The upper straps they included don't really help. Having fifteen compartments makes zero sense. The putter slot is way too small and positioned at the bottom when on a trolley, totally surrounded by irons and hard to reach. The umbrella holder is awkwardly placed and gets in the way when you're grabbing clubs. In the one round I played with it, I ended up putting my putter at the top instead, which created a clash with the umbrella setup. The pockets are adequate but nothing special or creative.
The support from OGIO has been outstanding. My golf bag had a zipper fail and within an hour of contacting them they had me set up with a brand new replacement. These guys really know how to take care of customers. I'm impressed with the level of service and will definitely stick with Ogio products going forward. Great work.
I tried to buy a couple backpacks on sale but ran into payment issues. The company told me my card information was invalid and that the bank rejected the transaction. Well, thanks bank for the heads up! Based on reading other reviews, it sounds like my bank protected me from a bad experience. This outfit seems like bad news all around.
I thought I was getting a quality, durable Ogio bag but it turned out to be surprisingly fragile. The first time I flew with it, the luggage carousel damaged it. Disappointed by how delicate it was, I reached out to Ogio, but they quickly shot me down and pointed me to their warranty terms saying they weren't responsible. If you want a pricey bag that can't handle a single flight without getting damaged, this is your brand. Based on what I've seen, Ogio bags are overpriced and not built to last.
